Select:
5. Select option 3 to edit the boot parameters. The system displays the parameters one at a time. Three actions are
possible as each parameter is displayed:
• To preserve a parameter, press <return>
• To edit a parameter, type the new alpha-numeric information and press <return>
• To clear a parameter, press the period key (‘.’) followed by <return>
Figure 5-2 shows an example of a Freeway System Boot Parameters screen.

6. Configure the boot parameters as described in
Table 4-1.
7. After you have entered the last parameter (Gateway Inet Interface), the screen displays:
Save modifications?
Enter ’yes <return>’ to save modifications.
Enter ’no <return>’ to prevent modifications.
If all of the parameters have been entered correctly, enter yes; otherwise, enter no.
If you enter yes, the screen displays the following message, and the system returns to the Freeway Boot System
Main Menu after data storage completes:
